GREEN GARDEN OFFICES

Richard Thompson Joinery were responsible for the entire construction of The space Studio. Designed by Sense of Space of Ilkley, the concept is to provide another room in the garden for use as an office, studio or extra bedroom. The emphasis is on an all green construction with minimum impact to the site and maximum insulation to provide a comfortable indoor environment that is useable all year round with minimal power consumed for climate control . Rainwater is collected and stored for use in the garden and the materials used are, where possible, from sustainable sources.

This project was featured an all timber construction and utilised high specification windows and doors manufactured in our own workshop. This space studio was clad in untreated Siberian Larch, which has very durable properties.
