Barn Conversion

This ruined barn was renovated by the team which was working with the main contractor, H. Devine and Sons of Harrogate. The barn was a ruined structure and presented numerous challenges for the team.

We chose to use roof trusses for this project and a vapor barrier was applied to the external walls prior to an insulated timber inner leaf, being constructed which was subsequently covered plasterboard and skimmed.

Windows, doors and staircases were supplied and fitted by ourselves. All windows are storm-proof, with draught proof openers and are fitted with double glazed units surpassing the requirements of current building regulations.
